Mafra, Portugal
IV Congresso dos Saberes Antigos
3, 4 and 5 September 2027
Sharing knowledge, tradition and the future.
The Congress of Ancient Knowledge brings together researchers, therapists and practitioners to share knowledge that has crossed the centuries: spirituality, symbolic traditions and traditional medicine.
After three editions, the congress returns to Mafra in 2027 with three days of talks, round tables and cultural events. Join us in the room or watch live from home.
A defining aspect of this congress is building bridges between traditional and ancestral knowledge and cutting-edge science, including quantum mechanics. Today, more than ever, these points of contact are evident — suggesting that everything is connected, and makes more sense when seen from this perspective.
Eleven paths of knowledge, presented by Portuguese experts and international guests.
The mystical tradition, spagyrics and the transformation of matter and spirit.
Reading the sky as a symbolic language inherited from many civilisations.
Founding myths and their place in Portuguese culture and identity.
The knowledge of medicinal plants and the dialogue between conventional medicine and complementary approaches.
Healthy eating and sustainable, regenerative agriculture, restoring physical, emotional and environmental balance to humankind.
Agriculture as nourishment for body and mind — and a form of environmental balance.
Where we come from — our ancestors, who made it possible for us to be.
Dowsing, the pendulum and other knowledge passed down through generations.
The National Palace and the monuments of Mafra, seen through the lens of ancient knowledge.
Union vs. separation; conflict vs. synergy.
Consciousness, perception and experiences that go beyond the limits of the brain.
