Jaime Otero Páramo is a leading figure in the promotion of Syntropic Agriculture and regenerative agroforestry across the Iberian Peninsula. Trained directly under Ernst Götsch in Portugal, Jaime brings over 25 years of experience in landscape design, soil restoration, and building biodiverse agricultural systems that work alongside natural ecological succession.

He is the co-founder of the Estación Agroecológica de Vieiro (EAV) in Galicia — a benchmark regenerative project where over 20,000 trees and nearly 100 food species have been established on restored soils — as well as the creator of Projecto Dispersor, an initiative dedicated to agroforestry education, specialized tools, and ecological regeneration networks. Jaime advocates for human-inclusive agriculture that revitalizes ecosystems while building ecological and economic resilience.
